Combinative 2Hi/4Hi skin pass mill is applied for processing varies steel type like Carbon steel, high strength microalloyed steel; with max width of820mm, thickness of 0.2-6.0mm. Danieli Florin will provide one combinative 2Hi/4Hi SPM for Iserlohn Letmathe plant of Risse+Wilke company to replacing the present two SPM.

Regarding to the problems existed in information disclosure, financial accounting and financial process, the relative regulatory authorities order China First Heavy Industries （CFHI) to make rectification for its billions accounting receivable fails withdrawing bad debt reserve. The third quarter report released on 31^st October revealed that from January to September,2011, the net profit is RMB 99 million yuan drops 73.81% over the same period last year, earing RMB 0.02 yuan per share. 

CFHI attributes it’s profit drop to the higher operating cost caused by material price up, product structure adjustment and asset loss. But the investor discovered that accmpany the operating cost raised from RMB 3.563 billion yuan to RMB 4.047 billion yuan, the management cost raised from RMB 0.641 billion to RMB 0.701 billion yuan with total RMB 60 million yuan increased. Thus, the investors questions CFHI’s poor performance with higher company management cost and complains about their management efficiency and capacity.

Furthermore, the CFHI spending huge sums to take over two company by buying shares for the first half this year. They can’t explain the reason by buying 5% shares with RMB 1 yuan.

It shows due to the price hike of steel price, the slaes revenue of major large and medium-sized steel industries grew over 20% by last year’s same period according to the performance report for the first half of 2011 released by China steel indurtry. While the profit growth of the whold industy is lower than expected, which affect by smelting material high cost especially the sharp risen price of iron ore and coking coal. Among those steel industries, the Xinjiang Bayi iron& steel industy got relatively sound business performance. For the first half of 2011, Bayi iron& steel company made the profit margin to 8.4%.

On September 20,CHINA ASSOCIATION OF PLANT ENGINEERING (referred as CAPE) rolling industry service center held “rolling mill roll material selection, application, and maintenance seminar” in Qingdao, Shandong Province. Some experts went on deep communication towards roll’s material selection, cautions, maintenance, management,  quality control, pass depth control and research.

Baosteel roll pointed out that due to rolling mill’s continuous fast, automatical,large scale developmet,  ruquest further adjustment on R&D of roll material, processing technique, and colling equipment. The above mentioned adjustment is requested for both foreign and domestic to meet new demand. The steel enterprise shall increase input in roll grinding and testing equipment,ensure rationally using rolls to extend roll service life.

Experts of CAPE also indicated that enterprise shall promote the roll hardening technology which can reduce the cost effectively.

Though global stainless steel market demand keeps growing, the season demand appears obvious fluctuation. The whole market are cautious and optimistic to the stainless steel demanding movement. Global stainless steel industries get a slow recovery expecting to impove in the end of September or Ocotber.2011; while the quick recovery will extend to this quarter 4 or 2012. Stainless steel plants refused to comment on the future stainless steel market due to the  uncertain economic prospect. The rare steel orders resulted from the poor business turnover. The 2012 stainless steel market tends to have a good prospect based on the 2011 stainless stell market.

Global stainless steel consumption keeps warm recovery in 2011. The metal weekly estimated the 2011 global stainless steel consumption will increase 9.9% over the same period last year following the 2010 consumption increase of 21.5%. In 2011, the American regional consumption increased 14%，European 12.7%, Asian 8.4% over the same period last year.

American Allegheny Technologies suggests that for the global market, the high level stainless steel products get flourishing demand in the major regional market; but the common stainless steel products consumption slumps due to the sluggish demand of durable goods.

POSCO confirms launching its cold roll stainless steel Turkey investment plan in the end of September.2011. The new plant located in Izmit district of Istabul city and expected to begin production in 2013.The first stage designing annual output is around 200,000t. The new plant is viewed as POSCO’s strategic move to break into the middle east and east european stainless steel market.

Chinese domestic prices for cold reduced coil have continued upwards into September. The demand for CRC has been better than for HRC, and higher October CRC list prices from steel mills have also improved market confidence.

In the recent weeks, Baosteel increased it’s October CRC prices, and many other steel companies followed. They raise the CRC prices for October by RMB 30/tonne ($4.7/t) and RMB 50/t respectively.

Followed along with the increase of the CRC requirements, the requirement of forged steel rolls also will be increased.
