On 1st April,2013, BSEG strategically integrate and reorganize the Baosteel Group Changzhou Roll Manufacture Company, Jiangnan Roll Company, Shanghai Court Roll Surface Technology Company and Baosteel Hitachi Casting Roll Company, to establish the Baosteel Roll Science & Technology Co.,Ltd. which successfully realize the industry transformation and upgrade from manufacturing to full-life cycle service. The registered capital of Baosteel Roll is CNY 1.452 billion.
Baosteel Roll insist of technological innovation and R&D by absorbing the advanced technology and brand superiority of the global leading Iron & Steel industry -China Baowu Steel Group Corporation. Baosteel Roll set up the Jiangsu Large-size forged rolling tool R&D center. On 28th March, Baosteel Roll R&D Center was jointly established by Baosteel Engineering Technology Group and Baosteel Central Research Institute. By the end of year 2017,more than 43 patents has been authorized. The headquarter of Baosteel Roll is located in Changzhou with more than 600 employees, among them 50 people with middle and senior technical titles, 230 people with middle and senior technical skills.
