In the process of skin-passing hot-dipped galvanized al-zn sheet, aluminium/zinc reacts with cooling water to generate hydrogen which will stay to the roll surface. As a result, the crack from hydrogen brittleness will take shape to add to the grinding even lead to the spalling.
By adjusting the roll composition, Changzhou roll adopts special heat treatment to control the grain size of the hardened layer, the remnant austenite and the hardness of roll in improving the basic characteristics, thus to upheave its anti-hydrogen-brittleness feature.
